General Information about the Department

The real estate sector is among the developed sectors in our country and worldwide, and its business volume is quite large. People will always need real estate that they will live and use for investment purposes. The Real Estate Management Associate Degree Program aims to train employees who respect the ethical principles required by the real estate industry and are equipped with professional knowledge of real estate valuation, marketing, and management.

 

Education

The education period, which forms the basis of the profession, is two years. For two years, students are given a theoretical education that includes the technical knowledge required by the work. Students who take 120 ECTS credits and complete all Real Estate Management Associate Degree Program courses can graduate. It is not possible to graduate with missing honors below these credits. With theoretical training, students are provided with the equipment that will enable them to solve the problems they may encounter while practically practicing their profession. Those who complete the program are awarded an "Associate Degree Diploma."

 

Bachelor's Degree Departments that can pass with DGS Exam

Students who have graduated from the Real Estate Management Associate Degree Program are required to take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) to continue their undergraduate education from the 5th semester of formal education or open education undergraduate programs. According to the DGS guide, the 4-year sections that can be transferred vertically from the Real Estate Management department are listed below.

Graduates who complete the Associate Degree Program in Real Estate Management can open a real estate office, as well as in the Land Office, General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, Directorate of National Real Estate, Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, Directorate of Real Estate of Municipalities and similar public institutions and organizations, private companies, organized real estate companies, large buildings and they can work in the management of business centers.
