General Information About the Department

The interior design tries to improve the quality and livability of interior living spaces by combining ergonomic, functionality, aesthetic, and technological elements.

 

Education

The course contents of the Interior Design program include information that can be used at every stage of working life. For this purpose, the curriculum of the program; offers rich content with courses such as technical drawing, computer-aided design, interior design, essential perspective, laying methods, and ergonomics. In addition to these courses, our students are offered professional practice.

Job Opportunities and Working Areas of Graduates

The aim of this program is; is to meet the need for a designer workforce needed in businesses and offices. He can work in interior architecture offices, in the design departments of furniture factories, as a project staff in restoration companies, as a drawing staff or designer in architecture and engineering offices, as a technician, controller, or manager in model-making offices, and similar sectors. In most of the research conducted throughout Turkey, one of the biggest problems of industrial organizations, especially businesses that produce interior spaces, is the lack of technical personnel who can make original designs. The aim of this program is; To meet the designer workforce needs in businesses and offices. The lack of designers in our country has left many sectors facing the problem of branding. The designer problem is a common problem in many sectors, and there is a significant shortage of technical personnel. Therefore, it is thought that the students who will graduate will not have employment problems.
