History

The Faculty building of 14.900 m², which was built on 122 acres of land in Alanya-Kestel, was completed for the Akdeniz University Faculty of Law, which was established in 1993. However, considering that due to the characteristics of legal education, the Alanya district does not yet have the appropriate conditions for law education, the Akdeniz University Senate has decided to continue the teaching activities of the Faculty of Law in the University campus in Antalya. Our Alanya Faculty of Business Administration and Vocational School were settled in this building in Kestel and continued its activities. Our Vocational School moved to its new building built by Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 01 September 2009 and continued its education life.

Our school continues its education life within the body of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, which was published in the Official Gazette No. 29335 on 23.04.2015.

About us

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University ALTSO Vocational School started education by taking students to the Accounting and Tax Applications and Tourism Management departments with an additional quota in the 2007-2008 academic year in order to train qualified personnel at the level demanded by the sector and at the level of intermediate staff and suitable for changing conditions. Later, Banking and Insurance Program and Catering Services Programs were opened, respectively, and students were admitted to their formal and secondary education.

In the 2014-2015 academic year, Real Estate and Property Management, followed by Occupational Health and Safety, Social Services, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology, Electricity and Machinery programs were opened.

With the opening of ALTSO Tourism Vocational School in the 2016-2017 academic year, the Tourism and Hotel Management and Catering Services programs within our school were transferred to ALTSO Tourism Vocational School.

The Interior Design Program was opened in the 2017-2018 academic year.

In the 2017-2018 academic year, the Furniture and Decoration Program from Akseki Vocational School was transferred to our School.

Currently, there are students in the "Accounting and Tax Applications", "Banking and Insurance", "Real Estate and Real Estate Management", "Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technologies", "Furniture and Decoration" Programs as Formal and Secondary Education, but there are no students in other programs yet. .

Our building has a capacity to serve 1,200 students. In our Vocational School, there are 10 classrooms for 75 people and 7 classrooms for 65 people, a total of 17 classrooms. There are 1 conference hall, 1 canteen and 2 computer laboratories in our school that students can also use.
